Myself and a couple of friends have officially been accepted into the DC3 challenge. Woot.
In preparation we have a two man secure locker for all data collected and received from the challenge, as well as a Faraday Cage to block radio interference when working in out secure environment, and all monitored 24 7 by our high tech security camera.
With all the security measures in place what could go wrong.
Package materials received, one broken DVD.

Weekend project, Faraday Cage.
WeeFrequencykend consisted of the usual nothing to do, then idea, build a Faraday Cage to block Radio Frequency.
Most people would start out with a small cage for a single small electronic device. I am not most people, with help and inspiration from JasonTheNerd we completed the cage in just over two days. I have not uploaded any photos of the project to the blog, but on JasonTheNerd there are some. LINK I will add my own photos later.
Currently stored in the Faraday Cage is the server PC and MAC.
Cell phones and WIFI are only tested methods as of yet, works most of the time. Still needs some fine tuning.

Well sooner than I expected and without an email warning like last time. But its a Woot Off. Going to try again as always for the Bag O Crap. Maybe there will be something else that catches my eye that I can’t live without, or something that I want.

No one ever plans on going bald unless your like me. On Friday March 20th I will find out what my head looks like under my hair. The St. Baldricks is a foundation to raise money to fight Children’s Cancer. I have agreed with a friend to have my head shaved in an effort to raise money. We have met our team goal and I am still working on my individual goal. So if you feel like you want to donate, please click the link above. I will be posting before and after shots on this site, Facebook, and the St. Baldricks site.

After the hair cleared.
